Description

Okay so I've been working on this papercraft model for a couple of months now and I have finally got her finished. I'm really proud of this because the model for this does not exist online. This is a papercraft smash build meaning that it takes parts and pieces from a number of different models blended together and in some cases rescaled to make a 100% unique model. :D

Their are four main components to Celty: her body, her helmet, her scythe, and stand.

Her body: It is a modified and repainted Zero Suit Samus papercraft model. I modified it by painting the whole thing gloss black and added a strip of silver paper to replicate the zipper. I also added a small triangle of silver paper to be the zipper handle near the neck.

Her helmet: Was originally supposed to be a life sized cosplay replica, but after a few attempts I managed to get it properly scaled down to just the right size. ^^ I've had the template for years, but if I remember correctly, the model belonged to GANKUTSU-O-TAKU but I checked his page and can't find it anymore.

The scythe: I Completely scratch built this one. A little model sprue, some poster board, and a little paper was all it took.

The stand: Okay so the thing about the scythe is, where as it makes the whole pose work for the model, it complete throws the models center of mass off.  The model would not stand once the scythe had been added. So I had to build a stand. The stand was simple. I just cut the front out of Disney Infinity box.

Cetly is just one of those characters that I just can't resist. Even though I've seen maybe 2 episode of Durarara I have to say that Celty is one of my favorite anime characters. I just love her concept and personality.

Do you happen to still have the file for the helmet by any chance?
